For this week’s Client Spotlight, we had the pleasure of chatting with Jason Fowler who told us a little bit about Sea Island Builders based in Sullivan's Island, SC.

PLEASE TELL US ABOUT SEA ISLAND BUILDERS:

Sea Island Builders is a one-stop shop for clients who plan to build luxury homes and do substantial renovations. Sea Island Builder's award winning design-build process assembles the best team for each individual project and provides clients a single point of accountability to manage projects from design through delivery. This process allows clients to make fully informed decisions throughout the design phase with early accurate costing and "buy in" from all project participants.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE BUSINESS?:

Sea Island Builders began in 2004 as a family-owned business started by Sam Fowler and his cousin, Jeff Mathis. Jason Fowler, Sam's son, joined the team in 2009 bringing his engineering prowess to the table. Prior, Sam worked in the hotel development and construction business for 30+ years.

WHAT WAS SPECIAL/UNIQUE ABOUT THE PROJECT RECLAIMED DESIGNWORKS PROVIDED MATERIAL FOR?:

The Awendaw Retreat Project won the Charleston Home Builder Association's 2016 Award for Best Custom Home! This project also won the HBA Award for Best Outdoor Space and Pool for 2016 as well.
